Six-banded angelfish
Distribution: From Malaysia and Southern Japan to the Solomon Islands and New Caledonia. The most common angelfish species on the Great Barrier Reef and in New Caledonia and Loyalty Islands.
As most of angelfish species, Pomacanthus sexstriatus go through dramatic aspect changes with growth, and the juveniles are colored very differently from the adults.
