Distribution: Western Atlantic Ocean, from New Jersey and the Gulf of Mexico to Brazil. The most common ray in this part of the world, easy to spot in many throughout the Caribbean Sea, particularly in Mexico, Belize, St Barts, Antigua and the Cayman Islands.
