Cinnamon clownfish, red and black anemonefish, blackbacked anemonefish, dusky anemonefish
Distribution: from eastern Indonesia to the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and New Caledonia, including Guam, Palau and the Great Barrier Reef.
Usually hosted in large colonies by Entacmaea quadricolor sea anemones, occasionally by Heteractis crispa and Heteractis magnifica.
Often confused with Amphiprion frenatus (distinguished by location and black anal fin) and Amphiprion barberi (distinguished by location and orange-red color).
