Distribution: endemic to Mauritius and Réunion Island. In snorkeling, can be spotted at some specific spots in Mauritius, but almost impossible to see at low depth in Réunion.
Hosted by 6 species of sea anemones: Heteractis aurora, Heteractis magnifica, Stichodactyla mertensii, Macrodactyla doreensis, Stichodactyla haddoni and Stichodactyla mertensii.
