Blue Linckia, blue star
Distribution: tropical Indian and Pacific Oceans. One of the most widely distributed and easy-to-spot sea star, for example in Indonesia, Philippines, Guam and the Great Barrier Reef.
Most commonly blue (from light blue to dark blue, generally pure blue), but sometimes light-brown or light-pink.
